Instagram YOUth Matter serves youth experiencing unhealthy relationships. Services are available at NVUSD school-based Wellness Centers. YOUth Matter is a NEWS Domestic Violence and Sexual Abuse Services program.
Long Service Description NEWS is dedicated in understanding the needs of students experiencing unhealthy relationships. Our program intends to increase opportunities for students to access support services immediately, increase adult allies in students’ lives, strengthen the understanding of teen dating violence, and improve empathy within school cultures. Additionally, NEWS provides education and support to prevent domestic and sexual violence and outreach in schools to the general population.
